Highlight Morocco tour will start from Tanger where you will meet your driver/guide in the port and drive through the rif mountains and tetoun city to enjoy the views of the beautiful mountains till we get to chefchaouan or its called the Blue City it is one of the stunning villages in the feet of rif mountains chefchaouen medina had a Spanish-style square surrounded by many funky arts and crafts stores, roof-top restaurants and cafes where you will spend your night in a nice place to enjoy the breeze and the beauty of the nature, overnight in Hotel
After breakfast, self to do tour of the city of Chefchaouen (The Blue City), a small city situated in the Rif Mountains. The city dates back to 1471. The cities name derives from a Berber name â€œChef Chaouenâ€ which means â€œlook at the hornsâ€. Chefchaouen is a quaint place to hike and relax. You will walk inside the old city of Chefchaouen and visit Rass El Ma (The Head if the water). Ras El Ma is the source of water that is used by the city for irrigation and laundry. This is a public area where local woman wash clothing and blankets. When you finish your tour you will settle down in your Riad or Hotel for the night.
After breakfast, we will drive to cross the Rif Mountains and into the Middle Atlas Mountains to visit the Roman ruins of Volubilis the most important archaeological site in Morocco. After continuation to Fes via Meknes it was the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Ismail then you will continue your tours to Fez. Rest in your Riad or Hotel for the evening.
Today you will explore Fez, the oldest and largest medieval city in the world. A local licensed historical guide will accompany you as you discover each of the two old Medinas, the largest which is Fes El Bali. In 1981 it was listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Fes El Jedid, the old city, which was built by Merinids. The former has so many fascinating historical sites such as: Al Qarawiyin, which dates back to 859 AD, and is the oldest continuous functioning madrasa (Old School) in the world. The Ancient Tanneries where you can witness the tanners incredible labor of making Babouches (Moroccan Slippers) as well as wallets, handbags and a host of leather goods. You will have the opportunity to stroll throughout the Souks in the Old city of Fez.
After breakfast we will drive to Midelt which is the Capital of Apples. You will pass through the city of Ifrane, which is considered the coldest place in Morocco. Ifrane is also known as the Switzerland of Morocco because of the housing architecture and snowfall. Continue your tours through the Middle Atlas Mountains to Azrou or the Cedar forest, which is 3940 feet in elevation. Here you will have the opportunity to feed the endangered Barbary (Macaque) Monkeys. From here you will drive to the city of Midelt check into your hotel
Following breakfast, we will take you to the traditional Souk (Market) of Rissani, where the local people shop 3 times a week. From Rissani you will venture to the village of Khamlia where you will experience the sound and dance of African Gnawa Music. After working up an appetite you will enjoy an authentic Berber pizza in the village. Following lunch you will back to your hotel in Merzouga where you will meet your next mode of transportation, camels. You will ride your camel for approximately an hour and a half, to the tent in the Berber Camp situated in the dunes. Here you will experience the life of a nomad, eat the food and enjoy the sound of Berber music with drums.
Early this morning your journey will begin with a breathtaking sunrise in the desert as you mount your camel and head back to the hotel for breakfast. After breakfast you will explore many fortresses, valley of Palmeies and gorges. You will visit the wells that were used as irrigation in the 17th century, and a breathtaking view of the Toda Gorges. From here you will head to the highest oasis in Morocco, with mountains as high as 300m (1000 feet). You will travel through the city of Tinghir while making your way to Boumaln Dades where you will relax for the evening in your hotel.
After breakfast we will drive to Ouarzazat through the Valley of Roses where the festival of Roses is celebrated at the end of May each year. You will continue onward to Skoura, oasis of palm groves. From here you will head to the city of Ouarzazate which is known as the Hollywood of Morocco to visit the Cinema Studios, Not far from the Cinemas you will stop by the Kasbah of Taourirt. then drive to your hotel, dinner and overnight.
Following breakfast, you will head from Ouarzazte to the most famous Kasbah in Morocco, Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah. The fortified village and Kasbah is situated in the hills along the Ounila River. It has been an UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. Many films have been produced in the Kasbah including: The Message, The Mummy, Alexander and Babel. After the Ait Ben Haddou Kasbah tour, we will continue through the High Atlas Mountains where the altitude reaches 2260 M in Tichka Pass. After a long day you will reach Marrakech to put your feet up for the evening.
After breakfast you will explore the city of Marrakech. The name Marrakech originates from the Amazigh (Berber) words MUR (n) AKUSH which means â€œLand of Godâ€. Marrakech lies at the foothills of the breathtaking Atlas Mountains. You will visit some of the most fascinating sites of Marrakech, starting with the Tombs of Saadians, Palais Bahia, Garden Majorelle, the Kotoubia Mosque, and ending the day in the square of Jamaa Lafna and the Souks. The square of Jamaa Lafna is overflowing with shops, crafts, entertainment and a host of restaurants.
In the morning after breakfast will start our day from Marrakech via the most beautiful sites of the Middle Atlas. It’s about 180 km from Marrakech and at1500m altitude, it’s a small village famous for its waterfalls 100m which is the biggest in our country and in the northern Africa, also you will have a chance to walk up to stunts required and then up the 600 steps to reach niche restaurants on the banks via the Monkeys on the surrounding trees. Where you will enjoy your day trip and have lunch in the place. Back in the evening and drop off at your accommodation in Marrakesh
Take a full-day tour to Essaouira from Marrakech. Spend time in a laid-back fishing town. Leaving Marrakech at 8:00, you will travel through the vast breathtaking Moroccan landscape, peppered with a few scattered villages, camels, sheep, and goats grazing in the meadows.Enter the charming blue and white town of Essaouira, also known as â€œWind City of Africaâ€, excellent for wind surfing and sailing. You will visit many fascinating sites, including the sea port where the seamen uncover the catch of the day. Stroll the sandy beach that stretches way to the south. The laid-back atmosphere of this town, the dramatic ramparts and the sandy beach have together created an attraction for artisans and hippies for years. Essaouira has a bohemian feel quite different from the rest of the country. Back in the 1950â€™s Orson Wells stayed at the Hotel des lles during the filming of â€œOthelloâ€. This picturesque town of Essaouira was the home of many other film productions. Jimmy Hendrixâ€™s song â€œCastles Made of Sandâ€ was written two years prior to his visit to Essaouira. Then you will travel back to Marrakech for the evening.
